Our approach and past events

We’re excited by the impact and reach of our first proper collaboration - with CSIRO and the UQ Liveris Academy to help produce a Dirt Track vision for Queensland’s food innovation system.

The first version is available here, and we encourage you all to share it, to ask yourselves what it could mean to your organisation to be part of such a vision, and how the work you know you need to do already, can be strengthened and made easier by joining in.

On 7 April 2025 we were joined by Ashleigh Morris, CEO & Co-Founder of Coreo, Aleasha McCallion, Monash Sustainable Development Institute, Leanne Griffin from Arup, and Nicola Atkin, Senior Strategy Manager with BWD to explore ‘how good we could be’ in creating circular ecosystems for infrastructure, events, clothing and footwear.

On 2 October 2024 Dr Martin Geissdoerfer, from the Monash Sustainable Development Institute, helped launch the Lucinda Alliance, sharing his thoughts on opportunities that could arise from Brisbane 2032, putting down markers for Australia and Asia to be part of a world leading circular ecosystem
